Local 2030 Districts have adopted the 2030 Challenge as designed by Architecture 2030. This broad set of incremental targets for energy use, water consumption and transportation emissions calls for a 50% reduction by the year 2030 for existing building and targets net zero emissions for new construction. Districts help their members make operational changes to reduce use and report on progress towards the goals.
