As a large firm with more than 4.5 million square meters under design every year, we have a special responsibility to the environment. We are climate-neutral in our firms’ operations and engage staff in our mitigation strategies. In our work, we are committed to positively impacting the planet and the communities around us, emphasizing reducing our impact on climate change while considering climate justice. We have been active participants in the AIA 2030 Commitment since 2009, and we believe in design informed by performance metrics. We commit to designing net-zero carbon for operation by 2030 for all our projects, including embodied carbon by 2050.
