Over a decade ago, we committed to the AIA 2030 Challenge and pledged to limit our greenhouse gas emissions in a meaningful, measurable way. Today, our research-based Living Design framework combines sustainability with inclusion, resilience, regeneration, and well-being to ensure a holistically high-performing built environment. This framework guides our carbon reduction and material transparency efforts across scales. We’ve developed tools, embraced partnerships, and advanced research to help us reduce operational and embodied carbon in the buildings and communities we design, with the power to transform our industry.
